{"id":829605,"date":"2026-10-10T00:56:28","date_gmt":"2026-10-09T22:56:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/institutjeanmonnet.eu\/changenow-2026-leading-with-courage\/"},"modified":"2026-10-10T00:57:23","modified_gmt":"2026-10-09T22:57:23","slug":"changenow-2026-leading-with-courage","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/institutjeanmonnet.eu\/en\/changenow-2026-leading-with-courage\/","title":{"rendered":"ChangeNOW 2026: \u201cLeading with Courage\u201d"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" data-block-type=\"core\">On April 1, 2026, as part of the 2026 edition of ChangeNOW, a discussion on the theme \u201cLeading with Courage\u201d brought together Sandrine Dixson-Decl\u00e8ve, Jean-Christophe Bas, and Jean-Marc Lieberherr.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" data-block-type=\"core\">Drawing on their respective family histories\u2014marked by their grandfathers\u2019 commitment to fighting fascism and Nazi Germany\u2014the speakers discussed the conditions that made it possible to build the peace we enjoy today as Europeans.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" data-block-type=\"core\">The discussions also focused on the challenges threatening this peace and on our collective responsibility to defend the freedoms we have won and to preserve this legacy.
