On June 2, the film “Jean Monnet, l’aventurier de l’Europe” (Jean Monnet, Europe’s adventurer) at 9:05pm on France 5 and France TV. A 90-minute documentary directed by Christian Huleu, written by Éric Roussel, Jean-Marc Lieberherr and Christian Huleu.

Jean Monnet’s life is a succession of incredible adventures. It spans the 20th century. It accompanies its upheavals, progress and tragedies. But, above all, it shapes them. Through his actions and ideas, Jean Monnet left his mark on our history. And not just by giving birth to Europe… Built around an interview conducted shortly before his death and never broadcast in its entirety, this documentary shows how Jean Monnet became convinced that by uniting people, he could change the world.
