On May 8, 2024, the Institut Jean Monnet, represented by Jean Marc Lieberherr, organized a roundtable with the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) in Washington, on the theme of transatlantic relations on the eve of crucial elections in Europe and the USA. Moderated by Max Bergmann, the panel – comprising EU Ambassador Jovita Neliupšienė, former Deputy Secretary of State Karen Donfried and European Parliament representative Walter Goetz – called for a renewed transatlantic partnership to face common threats together.
